Lisa Ellen Hughes

Lisa Ellen Hughes is an emerging multi-disciplinary Sydney-based artist working across animation, drawing, painting and installation. Lisa’s research investigates the tensions in the relationship between nature and humanity. She is interested in ecological habitats that mirror the social behaviours of humans, exploring the notion of the 'survival of the fittest'. Lisa's practice also expands into issues around sexual behaviours, sexual relationships and gender identity.
