Fernanda Melo Thielen
Fernanda Melo Thielen is a graphic designer from Florianopolis, Brazil. Prior to studying at UNSW Art & Design, she mainly worked on branding and packaging projects for a non-profit private entity in Brazil, which helped small businesses upgrade their products and brand. She is currently interested in exploring the potential of participatory design in user research to solve complex problems. Her recent research project ‘Nooovi’ addresses the loneliness that women who experience domestic violence feel by providing a safe and anonymous digital environment for them to share their concerns and voice their problems with other women going through the same situation.
