Madeleine Bell

Madeleine Bell is an emerging artist based on the Central Coast. Her practice involves expanded painting and drawing techniques as a means of exploring human connection with the natural environment. Madeleine’s works are greatly informed by the ways in which she experiences and interacts with the land around her, namely Bouddi National Park, investigating ways of exploring the local colour and constant movement of the site. Translation, reduction, and the incorporation of physical aspects of the landscape in her work, aid in capturing the dynamic and ever developing relationship between individuals and the land.
