Joanna Eleanor Tan Bienz

Joanna Eleanor Tan Bienz's design practice ties in closely with her business background, resulting in creative yet pragmatic outcomes. She takes a cross-disciplinary approach in her designs that leads to multi-faceted solutions that address real world problems. Joanna is concerned with environmental and social issues and hopes to develop her practice towards impactful work. A young designer with broad skills and interests, her work highlights the business and human value of design. Her capstone project addresses the sachet waste problem in her home, the Philippines, and takes a systematic approach to include economic, social and cultural considerations.
