A&D ANNUAL 2020

Jessie Nok Wai Hui

Jessie Nok Wai Hui's work focuses on slow observations and reflections of everyday living. The everyday time and space are slowed in her practice, generating contemplation into impermanence and the self. By exploring the interrelated external and internal world, Hui represents this connection through weaving landscapes and interiors with her inner dialogue and intuition. She works across oil paintings and ink drawings, creating abstract time and space that offers an alternative view to the everyday.
