Harris Wang

Harris (Haozhe) Wang is an emerging designer who focuses on social issues such as the displacement of refugees, immigration and cultural difference in his research. He believes that art and design have the power to bring attention to the importance of humanity. Harris embodies ideas of co-existence between Eastern and Western cultures in contemporary jewellery practices through hybridity, perceiving Chinese culture through the lens of contemporary jewellery practices creating a dynamic of 'New Traditions'.
