Beverly Matthews

Beverly Matthews' art practice is both spiritual practice and ministry. Through her practice, Beverly hopes to spark conversation about spiritual, and specifically Christian, themes, in ways that are non-judgemental and accessible in a secular world. Beverly is particularly interested in using her artwork as a means of engagement with people who may not be comfortable in traditional church settings. Beverly likes to experiment with different materials and styles, and will often incorporate original poetry or music with her work, but her passions remain drawing and painting.
