Dea Minerva Daniel

Dea Minerva Daniel's practice focuses on design for spatial experience. Her recent project 'The Sanubari' is a holistic design system that aims to address waste issues in Makassar, Indonesia as a comprehensive social responsibility, as well as help the community in Tallo, a sub-district in Makassar surrounded by waste. This project involves three programs: social enterprise (the 'Zero Waste Shop' and café), a local zero waste campaign, and the re-design of the waste bank in Tallo using a co-design method. In addition to raising awareness about environmental issues, Dea also aims to rebuild local value in empathy and togetherness.
